Apple may sell iPod and iPhone with unlimited music

by on Mar.19, 2008, under My Thoughts

Apple is in negotiations with music labels in an effort to bundle an “unlimited download” option with its iPod and iPhone. For either a one time fee for the life of the device, or a monthly subscription, owners of the “i” devices will have unlimited download access to the iTunes store (or at least the labels that agree to the terms).

I love this idea and would definitely purchase the service as an add-on to my iPod. Heck, if I had to buy a new one just to get this, I would. I hope they try to get access to the audio books as well, since I’m a big fan.
